Apple Intelligence vs Gemini Live: The Mobile AI War

Apple has won the "Privacy and Ecosystem" battle. Their AI runs almost entirely on the iPhone's local NPU (Neural Processing Unit). It has deep access to your calendar, emails, and photos, allowing it to perform "cross-app tasks" like "Find that photo of the receipt from last Tuesday and send it to my accountant."

Google Gemini Live wins the "Intelligence and Awareness" battle. It is more conversational and features Live Video Presence. You can point your camera at a car engine, and Gemini will talk you through how to check the oil in real-time. It is smarter as an encyclopedia, but less integrated into personal files than Apple.
